Summer Camps

We are now enrolling in all 2024 Summer Camps!

Seattle Percussion Works offers separate camps for every age range, K - 2nd, 3rd - 5th, 6th - 8th, and 9th - 12th. All camps are week-long day camps 9 am - 4 pm. Before and after camp options are available. Space is limited with only 10 students per camp. Come drum with us this summer!

Sound Explorers Camp

Rising K - 2nd graders
(ages 5 - 8)

July 1 - 3 (Mini Camp)
July 22 - 26
Aug 19 - 23

This full-day camp will be packed with group percussion music, instrument making, foley, and much more! Students will have the opportunity to play on a variety of instruments including well-known and accessible options like boom-whackers, desk bells, bucket drums, and marimbas.

Beat Keepers Camp

Rising 3rd - 5th graders
(ages 8 - 11)

July 29 - Aug 2

This full-day camp will be packed with group percussion music, instrument making, foley, and much more! Students will have the opportunity to play on a variety of instruments including well-known and accessible options like orff instruments, hand drums, bucket drums, and much more.

Middle School Percussion Camp

Rising 6th - 8th graders
(ages 11-14)

July 8th - 12th

Marimbas, hand drums, snare drum, and more! Percussion is a great way to improve our rhythm AND our understanding of the piano keyboard. Students will get the opportunity to improvise as the group, conduct the other campers, and play some of the best summer percussion music you can get your hands on.

Creative Music Camp (Band Camp)

Rising 6th - 12th grade
(ages 11-18)

This camp will teach students to write music as a group. In Band Camp, we put on an emphasis on the collaborative process, compositional structures, and how to rehearse unique musical ideas.
